I have been helping people in education and mental health settings for over 25 years. My decision to pursue a graduate degree in professional counseling came after volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children (CASA) in Paulding County for five years, serving in a local Celebrate Recovery program, and navigating my own healing process in therapy. I have experience in higher education, community mental health/substance abuse treatment, and a K3-12 private school. I worked at Dallas Family Counseling for several years before starting my private practice in 2023.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Georgia and Alabama. Clients in Paulding and surrounding areas can choose to see me in person. I offer online sessions to people throughout Georgia and Alabama.
My specialization is trauma (particularly complex trauma) and I use several different modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Polyvagal Theory. My primary model is Internal Family Systems and I am a IFS Level 2 trained therapist. You can learn more about these approaches by clicking on my Resources page:
I primarily work with adults who have experienced trauma and will sometimes work with teenagers.
